1. This website collects nothing about you
tapawingolabs.com gathers no personal information from visitors. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers of any kind. You can read every page of this site without telling us who you are.
Our web server keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and abuse prevention, as any web server must. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not shared.
There is one way we end up holding your information, and it is one you choose: emailing us at info@tapawingolabs.com.
2. If you email us
info@tapawingolabs.com is the only way to contact Tapawingo Labs, and email is the only personal information we receive through this site. When you write to us we hold your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message, for one purpose: answering you.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send you marketing, and we do not pass your address to anyone else. Our email is hosted by a mail provider acting on our behalf under contract. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the enquiry and our records, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time by writing to the same address.
3. Who we are
Tapawingo Labs Inc. designs, builds, and operates software solutions for small to large organizations, including bespoke custom software.
4. Our products are covered separately
Every software solution Tapawingo Labs builds has its own privacy policy and its own terms. Those documents govern that solution and are the ones to read if you use it. This policy does not replace them and does not describe them.
They exist because a working product cannot avoid collecting information: an account needs an identity, and an organization's records belong to that organization. This website does none of that. It provides general information about Tapawingo Labs Inc. and an email address for getting in touch, and nothing more.
Across every product we operate, these commitments hold: we never sell personal information, we carry no advertising and build no advertising profiles, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Text messaging
Tapawingo Labs does not send text messages. There is no messaging on this website, we run no text campaigns, and writing to us will never result in a text.
Some of the software solutions we build and operate include text notifications as a feature, sent by that solution to its own users at their request. What a solution sends, how often, and how to stop it are described in that solution's own privacy policy and terms, which are the documents to read if you use one.
Those solutions are ours to stand behind, so the following bind every one of them:
- We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that provide support services, such as the messaging provider that delivers the messages, is permitted. All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- Text notifications are off until the account holder turns them on themselves. Consent is never pre-checked, never bundled with another agreement, and never a condition of using the solution. It is recorded with its date and time in an append-only log.
- No phone list is ever bought, rented, or acquired from anyone. A number reaches a solution only because the person who owns it entered it.
- Every solution honours STOP and HELP, discloses that message frequency varies and that message and data rates may apply, and states these at the point of consent.
- A mobile number goes only to the messaging provider that delivers the message, under a contract that forbids any other use, and is never sold.
- No solution sends marketing or promotional texts.

6. Your rights
If you have emailed us, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it; write to the address below. Beyond correspondence, this website holds nothing about you. If you use one of our products, that product's privacy policy explains how to export your data and how to ask to be forgotten, and we honour those requests. California, Virginia and other state residents may have additional rights; use the contacts below and we do not discriminate for exercising them.
7. Changes
We will post material changes here with a new effective date before they take effect.
